Hey Guys,

I recently went on a trip to isla roatan honduras and went in to a pharmacy to see about getting some generic Valium. It came in packs of 10, but I already threw the pack away and put the pills in a bottle. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has seen this type of pill before and is it a legit generic version?

Size: Dime
Color: White
Side1: Scored (line through it)
Side2: LNE

Supposedly 10mg I think -- but I think it might be less since it is white and not blue???

I got some other stuff in Belize and was able to identify it on this bored and a few other sites, so it was good. With this stuff though, the people in the pharmacy had it "hidden" sort of in the back and did not advertise this... they had me write the name of drug i wanted on paper - it just makes me curious.

I will post a picture if needed. Anyone know though?

-Matt

LNE

This has been brought up here on Pharmer a coupel of times before. The consensus was that is was a benzodiazepine, but not totally verified.

Thanks!  This is definitely

Thanks!  This is definitely helpful and a start :)  I have tried a few of my blue valiums, so I am going to try the white tomorrow night.  I'll post and let everyone know if I feel the same effects of what I would "normally" expect from a 10mg dosage of valium.

P.S.  Like the other thread, I havent tried xanax before.  Is there a big difference in effects?  You think if it is xanax and not valium i can tell?

Valium vs Xanax

They are both benzodiazepines, so most of their effects are going to be the same. But, there will be subtle differences.

Patients who have been on a certain medication for a while, and are then switched to another medicine in the same class, may be able to tell the difference.

But, as everyone states, everyone is different and reacts to the same medicine differently. The only way for you to find out is to take the medication.

Of course, if you have concerns about what your physician is prescribing, you should ask him/her about them. Your physician is in the best position to offer you advise, as he/she knows your history, medical problems, and what other medicines you are currently taking.

Also, maybe some of the other Pharmer members, who have taken both medicine a lot, will be able to give you their experiences.

Good luck.
