Trouble with Windows Explorer 9

When I wrote to kirby a couple of days ago, he responded with,

"I know nothing about Explorer 9. It's very possible the website is not compatible with Explorer 9. Our last upgrade was about one year ago.

Our operating system is based on Linux and not Windows."

So, I guess we are stuck with disabling the rich text, before every post, and not being able to use the bullets, smiley faces, bold, italics, etc. I have thought about going to "Geek Squad" to see if they can get rid of WE9 and get me back to WE8.

I also like FireFox

Google Mozilla Firefox and (free) install it.  You should not have any more problems. Firefox works for me. Wink

Firefox

I agree with Goat and the other posters about Firefox.

It's wonderful.

So fast and it seems to be immune to 'worms', viruses etc.

To be honest I have not tried Chrome, Opera etc.  They might be very good.

Explorer is (or was) horrible.  My computer on the Windows partition has every virus/worm/snooping problem known.  Yet Firefox on both the Windows and  Linux partition is problem free.

And there are lots of add-ons that are really neat and constantly updated.  Great browser.Smile

Test of Firefox

I just downloaded Firefox.  It will take some getting used to, since I was so familar with my old browser.  But, I don't have to disable the rich text to post anymore.

I can also use the italics and bold functions, as well as the smiley facesTongue out

So, except for the getting used to a new site and setting it up to my liking, this seems to be an easy solution.  Thanks for the tip.
