Sad to say that I became

Sad to say that I became aware of this this past weekend while doing my mother's day card shopping at Walgreens. Noticed a sign for "Loperamide" OTC medications were now being kept in the pharmacy, and they had those little placards out that you have to take to the pharmacist to buy the product (similar to pseudo ephedrine and ephedrine products).

My town has been hit hard, and I mean terribly hard, with illegal opiate drugs flooding the street, and we are not that big of a town. Every day, our police scanner page has at least 2 or 3 possible ODs- opioid/H listings. Along with the influx of H, we have also been treated to an increase in gun related crime. Never would have thought that I would feel the need to actually carry a gun, but things have gotten to the point where you don't feel safe.

I know I went off on a tangent, but it's all the same in the long run. Stupid people overdosing on anti-diarrhea drugs, drug addicts believing they can cure their addiction because they saw some idiot on YouTube claim it is a safe way to curb their withdrawals; it's just a vicious cycle.

Same things

In southern Ohio...missing women and murders ..ODs...all tied to the illegal drug trade.
