I had my appointment with my PM doctor today and it went great.  My doctor was out for the week so she had another doctor fill in for her.  She was very nice and we talked for about 10 minutes.  She is less conservative then my normal PM doctor.  I was on 2 20 mg oxycontin and was not given a IR drug.  The new doctor was very surprised that I wasnt on an IR med along with the ER one.  I told her that I really like the current dosage that I am on and the drug oxycontin in general.  I told her that I would like an IR drug for when I get bad hemmies or bad breakthrough pain.  She wrote me an additional script for 60 percocet which will be great because now I can start saving some of them in case I cant see the doctor for some reason or any other bad situation.  I am so glad I am being treated for my pain and have doctors that dont judge me.  I am 22 years old and get treated with a lot of respect.  I guess if you speak to your doctor with respect and in a professional manner then they will return the favor.  OMG I almost forgot.  The reason for the post was mostly becasue of walgreens. They have always carried watson generics for hydros and percocet.  Today I got my percocet 10/325 filled and they were mallincroft.  They say 10/325 on the back and M some number on the front.  They were the first things I took when I got them filled and they worked good.  I hope they continue to work well like the watson brand.  I have heard good things about malli oxycodone products so Im hoping they will be good.  Thanks everyone and have a good weekend.

My humble opinion

Mall. Generic Percocet is FAR superior to Watson . Night and Day difference. Their (Mall.) Hydrocodone on the other hand is useless. Mall. makes great Oxycodone products!

The 10/325 Oxy/APAP from

The 10/325 Oxy/APAP from Mallinckrodt are one of the few products I like from them. Its weird but I cant stand there 5/325, the 512's even when taking two to equal the same 10mg Oxycodone in the 10/325 tablets. I dont think you will be disappointed with these spence.

Exactly how I.......

Exactly how I feel, Mall's make good Oxy 10/325 but when I once tried their Oxy 5/325 it was like I took a placebo.  Even if Rx said take 2 tabs, they just didn't work!  10mgs or nothing, on those!   Now this was not a Walgreen Pharmacy, long time back.

Congrats to Spencej6, I mean heck if you need & the lady doc saw that u did, go for it.  I would have, but I do still have to take Ibuprofen.

Have a nice weekend everyone!  Laughing

<--- begs to differ

that is odd, i recently have been placed on the percocet 10/325's as well, and the mallies arent pixie dust compared to the endos which i just got today, 1-2 PRN pain, 4hrs, well when i got them i took 2 being in the amount of pain im in, and the mallies didnt even relieve the pain, but these bad boys had me seeing double almost, and i have been on oxycodone products for about 6 yrs. just not much with the acetaminophen. i guess different strokes for different folks, and walgreens wanted 177$ for my 120 RX of them, now this mom and pop not only has the endos ( a god send) but they were 70 cents a pill!!and the mallies i was on before i looked my doc square in the eye and asked if he practices in placebos. he laughed and referred me to the pharmacy he uses personally, got my endos, and after dosing for the first 4hrs, called him and thanked him. good job oh wise writer of medication, good call. great taste, less filling, lol just thought i would thro that in thereCool

Thank you locofornorco.  I

Thank you locofornorco.  I have never had the endo product.  Are the endos you speak of generic?  Or are they brand.  Im not crazy about the malli 10/325 but it has only been 2 days.  Next time I will try the endo.  If I call a pharmacy what do I ask them for, endo brand or endo generic?

So, if one were to ask

So, if one were to ask pharmacist for the brand name 10/325 percocet, does that mean that that's what they would get?   Money mouthPricey   but ABSOLUTELY THE MOST EFFECTIVE perc's we have discussed on this forum!!!!  Or, do ya still have to specify "ENDO"?  My guess is yes, but just not certain, ya there?  uNo, does 1 still gotta say "ENDO, please" to pharmacist?

P.S.

See I've been REALLY been considering asking my doc to change the Rx to 10mg/325 because the Oxy's5mg are still hard to find & that Rx effect just doesn't last long enough!

Thanks to Goat for the Pic  Laughing   & also to LoCoforNoRcO.
