I can't comment on Valium

but I have taken PurePac Alprazolam for 3 years and I am very satisfied with the quality. Now I was taking generic Valium about 8 years ago and my first script was Mylan. They were horrible quality i.e. soft tablets that crumbled with minimal handling and just overall poor quality but that was 8 years ago. Good Luck!!! Laughing Greg

I agree with

I agree with HCandKROD...Mylan brand benzos should be avoided; I should have qualified that if you get Mylan, your last two pills may well be thin discs with a bunch of powder, plus they are known for making inferior benzodiazepines in the first place.

what

About barr? They seem really crumbly to me. But its been a while since I've been prescribed them so maybe they've changed.

thanks

For the info. I was unaware that Barr was aquired by teva. Do you believe these to be inferior to qualitest or Pure PAC?

Barr's seem to have been okay

Barr's seem to have been okay the one time I got them (before Teva bought them out), so I suspect it's the same manufacturer and the devil is in acqusitition rights, etc.  But for benzos in general, I would say PurePac and Qualitest have at least the best generic products for diazepam and clonazepam in relation to Roche (brand).  Other than those two, I can't really say - people dog on the Mylan genereic Xanax, but I find them to be okay; in fact, the only Mylan generic benzo that is reasonable seems ro be their alprozolam.  I would hesitate to get anything made BY Teva (93 or TEVA imprint);  nothing but problems for me, especially their "version" of clonazepam.  I've never encountered an inferior product from Qualitest or PurePac, or even Activis for that matter.
