Rachel, Watson does make a 75 mcg pouch patch, that's the one I started with. I can't use them because they tear up my skin and raise hives as well. I'm just not as tough as MrB, Hee Hee Hee . . . Q
Def makes the best offering and there nice and small/ stick well without leaving a rash or feeling any irratation.
Well, I have stated that I am receiving EXCELLENT pain relief from my Watson FTDs as well as the Sandoz. It is not all peaches and cream however. I am getting square shaped scars where the outer adhesive irritates my skin. I also will get sores if I dont put the patch on just right, since the outer adhesive edge will pinch together if you understand what I mean. I will say that on my 3rd month now I have not noticed any irritation at all, very minor if any. My skin has adjusted, and I dont care that there was irritation in the begining, the analgesia was definitely worth it. Now I am worried that all manufacturers will follow Duragesics/Mylans/Tevas lead and switch to the silicone matrix. There has to be enough people who prefer the pouch over the silicone matrix to warrant at least manufacturer.
i'm planing on trying the patch on my next visit to the doc if i can pull the fund's together to pay for them that is
Good luck to you, hopefully it works as well for you as it does for us fentanyl users. It gives wonderful, energetic, non euphoria pain relief which is very stable around the clock about when you are on your 2nd patch.
thank's man i just hope i don't get them and regret spend that kind of money dude glad to hear that they work for u and so many other's hopefully they will work for me also oh and i keep forgeting but b4 i can't say it cute kid man
Oh, thanks, he is my LIFE! He is so intelligent and handsome.
When I was on them, sadly the Mylan worked the best. I say sadly because the West Virginia Mylan office is staffed my demons! They failed to ship my overlays twice and if you dare complain, they will lay it on you. Some stupid (though she thinks she's REALLY smart) nurse tried to give me ???$*, but I set her ^*#% straight. I hate to tell anyone to use them due the failure they call the West Virginia branch, but they do work really, really well.
thank you quincy, im gonna request that brand from the pharmacy n hope all goes well, these sandoz patches arent doing anything and i spoke to the manufacturer today and they said sandoz has switched to permanently using the matrix design(boooo!) however watson is currently using the reservoir type as you said, again thank you, any help is def. appreciated in this pain journey lol.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of the teva/aveva brand fentanyl patch? I just started 2 weeks ago with 25 mcg and my Dr has already increased it to 50 mcg. I think he is trying to get me off of vicodin of which I was taking about 50 every 2 weeks. I started with the sandoz brand and the new 50 is this aveva which I haven't read much about. Looking for input AND wondering after all of the horror stories I've read if I should just stay on the vicodin. I have severe clavicle bone pain that no one can figure out?? Thanks!
