" The more or less worldwide ban on carisoprodol does not help either, as it is the only med that ever helped my lumbar muscular problem and every other SMR available is impossible for me to take due to either drug interactions or side effects, neither of which Carisoma ever gave me" I just paid 60 bucks for 90 soma tablets...what a joke. I have been taking them sparingly lately.
I was told recently by my Dr that DEA had been in the office I go to several times lately because they are one of the few PM left arround, and they have a private, but separate pharmacy within the same building that the DEA is not fond of. MY Dr said they just passed new office protocol that they will no longer prescribe any meds, BT and ER that equal more than a total of 120 pills a month. I take a single lowest dosage ER pill, and am given up to 4 BT pills daily, for a total of 150 pills mothly. I am not overly dicouraged, and am happy to still be receiving pain management care, when so many are not able to get care. I just wonder if this is something others have experienced? I do not take any other meds for pain, or do not take any kind of muscle relaxers, or other sleeping and anxiety meds that would interfere with treatment. I have a pain that will never be corrected with surgery, or other procedures, and have only had decreases in meds in the last 5 yrs, with no increases since I got on a stable regimine 6 yrs ago.
sounds like the situation here.
I actually took the injections and got MORE pain than anything-! I have RA / LUPUS-
My rheumy said NO injections (recent) cause I just asked about them.(I do not see this DR,BTW is he in Toms River,in NJ?
This makes me upset-
