Generic variations in oxycodone/APAP formulations

I have been switched from hydrocodone/APAP 10mg 325 2 tabs. 3X daily to oxycodone/APAP 10 325, 1 4X's daily. The manufacturer was Alvogen. The medicine really seems to be lacking as I receive a short amount of relief at best, an hour or so.  It is for breakthrough pain. I also am prescribed morphine er 60mg, 3X daily. I would appreciate any insights from those who have taken other generic versions of the Percocet 10/325. Is it my imagination? Are my expectations unrealistic?  Thanks to all!

Break thru meds

I also am prescribed Morphine 60MGs TID and for break thru have been cut back from 15MGs QID to 10MGs BID.I of course objected but am told I am "lucky" to be given what I have been.I went to a new doctor and was told to stay with my current clinic and doctor!~ I was kicked out for a second and third time but enlisted the help of my friend and Lawyer to "ease me back in."I saw a nurse practitioner the last time as my doc was out of town and she gave me the "You know pain medicine does not work after a while"speech and I informed her that was bunk, garbage trash talk and she should not go by what they are telling her to say!And of course, I added"I really don't care what you do with others"speech" of my own!So for now all, that can be done(and I am lucky)is to give a little and then "hold your ground."I read above about the Percocet10/325s and thus a person should take what is given and not attempt a change because when a change is requested the doctors(and nurses)will change you and give you less,do not rock the boat!
